Judgment is coming: "it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). Sooner or later everyone who ever lived will acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Sovereign, Almighty, Creator-God who is firmly in control of the universe. For those who recognize this sooner while in mortal bodies, their judgment is between rewards or loss of rewards based on works (1 Cor. 3:11-15). The matter of the believer’s salvation was settled at the cross (Romans 8:1) because Christ paid the penalty for us (Romans 5:8). Those who reject Jesus Christ in this life, will be judged for their works as well but in this case, the matter of their salvation will be determined at the "great white throne" (Revelation 20:11-15). For these it will be found that "there is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10) because they did not respond to the Holy Spirit and put their trust in Jesus Christ (John 16:8-9). Procrastination can be eternally fatal. Bowing to the Lord and confessing His name is not something that should be put off (2 Corinthians 6:2). All you need to do is pray for Jesus to come into your life (Acts 2:21).
