Jesus Christ is coming back to earth (Revelation 22:20, Zechariah 14:4). His return will be preceded by a time of great tribulation (Matthew 24:21) but before this terrible period, the Lord will remove His faithful from the face of the earth in an event known as the rapture (1Thessalonians 4:14-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53)! Thus it behooves us to obey His command to "watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass" (Luke 21:36). "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9). If you have not received Christ into your life, beware: there will be a "strong delusion" to explain away the rapture so that most who have rejected the Lord will continue in their rebellion (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). So be ready before it’s too late, "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).
