Only the righteous will enjoy eternal life (Matthew 25:46). There is nothing we can do ourselves to be justified in Gods eyes: "all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). So all we can do is put our trust in the grace of God: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Our faith is in Jesus Christ who said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" (John 11:25). If you believe in Jesus and are ready to receive Him as your Savior and Lord just pray something like this: "Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I accept right now what Your Son, Jesus Christ, did for me on the cross. Please forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your presence and give me your peace and joy. I receive your promise of eternal life right now and I ask You to fill me with Your Spirit so that I can be a totally new person on the inside. I pray this in Jesus name." If you are sincere in this prayer, the Lord will save you (Acts 2:21).
